The Pā

The University of Waikato’s new facility, The Pā, offers more than just a stunning main entrance and student hub. As an eco-conscious construction, the building features 10,000 square meters of thermal and acoustic insulation to create a comfortable and quiet environment for those inside. The Pā also includes acoustic treatments that not only serve a functional purpose, but enhance the overall look of the building as well. With its versatile design and consideration for acoustic elements, The Pā is sure to transform the on-campus experience for all who enter.

CoBuilt was contracted to install thermal and acoustic insulation with included Quietspace®
Panels. We also built the support structure for the soffit, installing aluminum paneling between the timber rafters.
